Passive – Cups are placed on the limb being treated, then the limb is taken through all ranges of movement by the therapist.
Active – Cups are placed on the body and the client is instructed to either move through the joints ranges of movement or therapist instructs the client to perform a specific movement.
Stationary – Cups are placed on a region of the body & left in place for a specific time frame.
Gliding – Cups are placed on the body & moved in specific directions.
